The problem with Arsenal

The problem with Arsenal is...Laurent Koscielny.  He's the main problem, not the midfield or the strikeforce but him.  He's a liability, weak and not even fit to be a 1st team player.  I'm not a fan of Arsenal but a fan their team play.  Wenger might as well play Djorou in his place at least he has premier league experience.

It might be useful for Wenger to tweak his players a bit and do a Ferguson, playing Diaby in defence.  He has the strength and pace of the english game.  In midfield, there's enough talent with Wilshire, Ramsey, Arshavin, Benayoun, Arteta, Song etc.  Well, Wenger it's up to you now

Harimau Malaya : We need flair and creativity

This is my review regarding Malaysian football team since the friendly against Arsenal, Liverpool, Chelsea and Singapore.

Arsenal, Liverpool & Chelsea
To sum up Harimau Malaya performance against a trio of Barclays ex-champions, there are things that we can be proud of such as the performance of Kunalan, Safiq and Salee.  I remember Mr Wenger highlighted that Malaysian football lack the physical side in football but we must compensate that we skill, technique and pace.  We got a good strikeforce in Safee and Nur Idlan but unfortunately the latter only played the qualifying game against Taiwan.  Even during that game you can see that he wasn't really fit.  Kunalan in the other hand created a lot of problems for Arsenal and Liverpool, his darting run along the left wing was acknowledge by Steve Clarke of Liverpool.  Safee emergence during the Liverpool game showed that we've got a talented striker that can deliver goals.

My football manager career...

Been quiet lately, losing interest with EPL.  I've been spending a lot of time on my FIFA Manager 10 game starting from Hoffeheim, Barcelona, Juventus, Marseille, West Ham and now with Lazio.  Been wanting to join an italian side which the only league i've not won in my career.

The problem with Liverpool..

I know they've got a winning start yesterday but I still have some reservation for them.  A few things that Daglish needs to look into is the team structure, especially in terms of players and tactics.  First, get some width in the team (for godsake!), your main striker is dying upfront and you putting somebody that runs slower than a lawnmover as your winger.  You got it wrong guys (same goes to Benitez and Hodgson!) take out Maxi and Kuyt, they are not wingers and they have no pace.  Put in Cole and the other guy who can't tackle (Johnson), they can put in the crosses and got pace.  THEY WILL RUN AT DEFENDERS, they will put width and some flair in the team.

Congratulations Harimau Malaya!

Congratulations to the Malaysian football team and K. Rajagopal for winning the AFF Cup last night.  For me they really deserve to win for their dedication, work rate and concentration.

Mancini Sacked after 10 games?

Looking at Man City game against Spurs last Sunday, everyone seems to ponder Mancini future at the club.  Would he remain at the club if they continue to play like that?or the sheikhs have decided that they will sack him sooner rather than later.

A football fan will know that if you change to much to the team you will disrupt morale and gameplay (because the average playing time with each other in amongst the lowest in the league).  Next, there is too many individuals in the team (Robinho, Tevez, Adebayor to name a few).

So, who will replace Mancini?that is a question.

First game review

Arsenal vs Liverpool
I think Liverpool improved their gameplay under Hodgson, they were passing the ball and playing the counter attacking quite well until Cole got red-carded.  But still they managed to get a point out of this game. Arsenal seems likely to delay their interest to buy goalkeepers for the time being after some impressive display by Almunia.

Chelsea : Drogba and the gang showed the strength against smaller sides
Spurs & City : City is lucky to escape with a draw
Man Utd : Trailing Chelsea with a win on Monday, great play with clean sheet.
