I know they've got a winning start yesterday but I still have some reservation for them. A few things that Daglish needs to look into is the team structure, especially in terms of players and tactics. First, get some width in the team (for godsake!), your main striker is dying upfront and you putting somebody that runs slower than a lawnmover as your winger. You got it wrong guys (same goes to Benitez and Hodgson!) take out Maxi and Kuyt, they are not wingers and they have no pace. Put in Cole and the other guy who can't tackle (Johnson), they can put in the crosses and got pace. THEY WILL RUN AT DEFENDERS, they will put width and some flair in the team.
Tactics will depend on how much assists the wingers will put into the team. Torres will score if he will get the help from the wings and through passes. Meireles and Gerrard can put in enough through passes and chips into the box. Lucas can be a deeper playmaker and dictate from middle of the park. The two guys can roam higher if the know someone can cover them at the back.
Defence can be a bit tricky, they need a leader at the back. I think their missing Carragher a bit this season, if you take away a few years from him and put in back his pace it would help a lot to Liverpool. Patner him with anyone either Agger or Skertel would settle the centre defence. Leftside of the defence is the problem, puuting Johnson there wouldn't solve it. He can't tackle, period!. Put him somewhere else, its either Aurelio or Konchesky to fill that spot.
Overall, if Daglish won't change the team position, yesterday win would be a fluke and they start losing again.
